Why Am I listed?

A network abuse related complaint was sent and has not yet been resolved.

A list of the open complaints related to your IP can be found here

If you are listed as 127.0.1.* the issues surrounding your IP have been published in the news.admin.net-abuse.* groups and can be found in the group archives at http://google.com/groups?q=group:news.admin.net-abuse .

If you are listed in SPEWS list we do not maintain that zone. Information can be found on their website www.spews.org. Their policy is similar in regards to 'remove the source and the listing follows'.

How can I get off the list?

Ensure an 'abuse@yourdomain...' email address exists for both your IP and domain name; and that all complaints sent to it are acted on quickly.

There are tools available on this site for looking up many lists to find out which IP are listed, where, and why.

When all the active complaints have been resolved the listing will be removed.

What is listed?

Anything on the internet that comes into contact with our spam or attack traps.

How can I make nominations to the list?

We do not accept nominations to the main lists.

However verifiable information about sources, posted to the usenet group news.admin.net-abuse.blocklisting may be reviewed for inclusion in the manual zones.

How can I use the list?

You can't. This list is at present a private list available only for internal use to our subscribers.

Subscriptions are by invitation only to those we trust. If you have a case for requiring access we are sure to hear about it.

You can however run your own copy of rbldnsd. Zone files are available for download.
