This script can be used to lookup a copy of a blocklist database for a list of any listed IPs within a given range or set of ranges. This sounds just like grepCIDR you say? Well, it does provide the same search function. The difference is that grepCIDR cannot merge datalists internally or aggregate existing lists to make smaller data files. Due to the high throughput of some blacklists and the relatively slow update of my local copies I recommend that you check the evidence links listed and verify that any shown are still active before you sling the results at anyone. The present backend of the script needs to load the database for each lookup and is memory-capped at the server so it may abort without results if you load too many. Obviously the more ranges you check at a time is not limited and will reduce the ovverall time. My benchmarking results shows data handling of a steady 150Kb/sec for any pre-sorted lists. This devolves to an exponential slowing curve on unsorted lists. I am still waiting on genius to strike a better way to reduce time for random large-linked-list searches. If you would like a copy of this program or its' code for yourself the .zip/.tar.gz download of the currently active version is available through the link below. DownloadVersion 0.6 is now available. Major improvement in loading speed and memory footprint. Also more legacy IPv4 formats supported. A new Windows binary finally. List CriteriaAll lists here are subject to the following criteria:
DNSBL of Dial-Ups, Countries, Companies, or Autonomous Systems are not not eligible by their nature. This service is to increase the publicity of problems some Internet services have and how they may be fixed. With the hope of eventuating that solution. Bogons are included in the hopes that abuse of these unused IPs can be stopped. If you run a DNSBL falling under these criteria and want some additional help in spreading the information contact me InputEnter the ranges you with to lookup in the text field below. Ranges may be in CIDR form '127.0.0.2/32' or start-end form '127.0.0.2-127.0.0.5' multiple ranges may be entered with comma (,) between each. Please note: a single IP address requires the CIDR '/32'.
