The Distributed Checksum Clearinghouse allows your computer to work in conjunction with others, and uses the premise that the same message arriving at many different unrelated servers is likely spam (or a mailing list, which also gets handled properly).
The Spamhaus DROP List.
DROP (Don't Route Or Peer) is an advisory "drop all traffic" list, consisting of stolen 'zombie' netblocks and netblocks controlled entirely by professional spammers. It is designed for use by firewalls and routers to drop all traffic to and from the listed invalid IPs. |
